Up to 8 switch, detectors or IR receivers may by connected to Digital Inputs in SKC14-U2R1 or SKC14-U2R3 modules.
Use blade screwdriver 2.4 mm for wiring
Fig: Two switches connected to Digital Inputs 7 (green) & 8 (brown), white-green & white-brown used as GND.
Similarly to any Digital Input can be connected IR receiver. +12 V for the IR receivers can be connected to the power inputs of module or to the +5 V of I2C/SMBus.
Analog Outputs may be used as LED lights switches, Shown Analog Outputs 3 - orange & Analog Outputs 4 - blue, for example, and can change the brightness of LED.
To the Digital input can be connected any free contacts (dry contacts), such as wall switches, buttons, magnetic contacts, relay contacts of other devices such as video camera, DVR, security & access system and etc. Also can be connected an electronic devices such as motion detector, water level detector, smoke detector and so on, working on the principle of open collector with a common ground (GND). Other outputs of sensors or equipment having the output with closed collector not exceeding voltage +30V.
Contact is open - when resistance above ~ 150Ω
Contact is closed - closed to GND or impedance of less than ~ 150Ω.
Warning! All equipment connected to Digital Inputs must have a common connection to GND. Negative voltage on Digital Input or a voltage exceeding +30V may cause a malfunction module.
